Why do I love being a tutor? It's because this role offers me the joy of not always being the teacher. Collaborating with a diverse range of students, each with their own unique backgrounds, interests, and personalities, has proven to be an enriching experience beyond my wildest expectations.
In the process, I've been told captivating tales of incredible adventures in India, learned the ins and outs of caring for a variety of horses, and delved into a world of diverse book recommendations. (Even though I'm a math teacher, I can't resist the occasional deep dive into a good book.)
One of the most gratifying aspects of my work is bearing witness to the growth and development of my students. Some of them have embarked on their educational journey with me from the beginning of Year 8, all the way to the exhilarating chapter of their GCSEs and the beginning of college. It truly is a privilege to be a part of their remarkable progress.
So, a heartfelt shout-out goes to all my exceptional students who make being a tutor not just a job but the most wonderful journey!
