Happy International Mountain Day! Have you ever experienced the thrill of conquering a mountain? I'll never forget the incredible journey up An Teallach in 2020. We were above the clouds and the whole experience felt absolutely surreal. An Teallach stands tall at about 1062 meters, earning its prestigious title as a Munro.
In case you didn't know, Scotland's majestic mountains have their own classifications, named after the amazing people who compiled the lists. The crème de la crème are the Munros, towering over 914.4 meters above sea level. Next in line are the Corbetts (762 – 914.4 meters) and the Grahams (610 – 762 meters).
So, what's your mountain conquest story? Let's celebrate the awe-inspiring beauty of these natural wonders on this special day! #InternationalMountainDay #MountainAdventures
